Aowtakiab Seafood is a fantastic choice for a fresh, authentic Thai seafood experience in Hua Hin. Every dish tasted excellent. The Steamed Seabass was perfectly cooked, moist, and infused with classic Thai flavors. The Pan-Fried Curry Soft Shell Crab was the highlight—the crab was tender, and the curry sauce was rich and flavorful without being overly heavy. The takeaway packaging was excellent; everything was securely wrapped. My only consideration is the price, which is on the higher side. While the quality of the seafood justifies a premium, be prepared for a slightly higher bill than at other local spots. Overall, if you're looking for high-quality, flavorful seafood that travels well, Aowtakiab Seafood is a wonderful option.
The crab fried rice was totally off, cold, rice was hard and not fragrance as my previously visit. Others food was OK no as good before. To be honest the soft shell crab with tamarine sauce was good.

Be sure to clarify the quantity with the staff when ordering, as the first option can be a single prawn for over 500 baht—a costly surprise if you’re not paying attention. Another downside was the flies buzzing around, which was distracting and took away from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. Overall, Aowtakiab Seafood serves very decent seafood with some standout dishes, enhanced by the gorgeous beachside setting. Just keep an eye on the menu prices and be ready for the flies. Great seafood and views, but pricey portions and flies are a drawback and they don't accept credit cards.
We have to wait 35-40 mins, despite being there early before 6pm, as it was the long holiday weekend. While waiting, we browse the menu for the food to order and have to liaise with the staff who took our queue number for any available table. Notice the staffs worked super hard and everyone is doing multiple task. Finally we were ushered to a table and we placed the order. Luckily the wait for the food is not that long and when the food is served, we realised then why this restaurant, despite not having aircon and looks rustic, is still crowded. The taste of the food is good, fresh and satisfying. Despite the summer heat, the place is not that warm, with the restaurant sides open for cross ventilation and mobile fans blasting. Will visit this place again next time when in Hua Hin, but will not travel during the holidays.
